For instance, You might flop the nut straight, but if the turn brings a 3-flush, you no longer have the nuts.
Any basic poker video regarding Hold’em usually tells new players that they want to avoid being “outkicked” after the river falls. It is important to strive for the highest kicker possible because the kicker is the tie breaker if two players have the same pair. If you are dealt K6 and you hit a pair of kings, the 6 in your hand is your kicker.
The last term I will define today is “polarized range”. If you are playing on an Everest Poker download and someone states that they think your range is polarized, they are saying that your hand is either extremely strong or extremely weak.
